Track Recon Cost on Every Vehicle
Record what each vehicle costs to recondition from intake to completion. The dashboard shows the running total and the per-unit average, and the Reports page breaks it down.
Costs go in as the work happens
Enter a recon cost when you add or edit a vehicle, then capture the final cost when the vehicle is completed. The number stays with the vehicle, next to its status history and notes, so the reason behind a cost (the part that was ordered, the body shop invoice) is on the same record.
What the dashboard shows
- Total recon cost for every active vehicle
- Average recon cost per unit
- Average recon time, from vehicles completed in the last 90 days
Cost analysis on the Reports page
- Cost analysis for active and completed vehicles
- The five most expensive units, so outliers stand out
- Average recon times and the average time in each status
- Filters by dealership and time period
Take the numbers with you
Export active or completed vehicles to CSV or a print-ready PDF. Exports carry every vehicle's details, recon cost, status and dealership, and follow your current filters. You can also print any vehicle's complete record with its notes and status history.
Starting with vehicles already in recon? Import them from a CSV, up to 250 per file, with a downloadable template and a specific reason for any row that's rejected.
The repair bill isn't the whole cost
Recon cost is what you pay to get a vehicle ready. The days it spends getting there cost money as well: floor plan interest and depreciation run every day the vehicle isn't for sale. The recon cost calculator works out that daily cost for your own volume, floor plan rate and days to front line.
