Accountability

Accountability for Every Vehicle in Recon

Every status change records who made it and when. Notes from the whole team build a timeline on each vehicle, and the Activity Log keeps a record of everything else.

A history on every vehicle

The Activity Log

Every login, vehicle change, note and status update is logged with the user, timestamp and IP address. Filter by category, dealership and date range. Failed sign-in attempts are logged with their IP address too.

Sign-off where it matters

The built-in Pending Approval status sends email alerts to the people you choose when a vehicle needs a manager's sign-off. Who gets those alerts is set per user, so only the right people are notified.

See where vehicles slow down

Reports include a status bottleneck analysis, the average time in each status, average recon times, a breakdown of user activity and a list of inactive users. The numbers show where vehicles wait, so the conversation is about the process rather than about who to blame.

Everyone works from the same information

Four access levels run from Administrator down to view-only, and a permission matrix sets what each one can do. By default, even view-only users can add notes, so sales staff checking a vehicle's status can leave a question on the vehicle instead of walking back to the shop. In-app notifications cover status changes and completed vehicles.
